6-Day CI36 CELEBRATION

If you can attend only one CI event in the next ten years — make it the CI36 Celebration!

Thurs. June 12 - Wed. June 18
(arriving Thursday June 12)

The CI36 Celebration is a time to honor Contact Improvisation — with six days of festivities that recognize CI’s history, share in current research and practice, and consider the trajectory of the form into the future.

This historic Celebration will be an environment to rub shoulders (literally) with hundreds of practitioners, instigators, and supporters of Contact Improvisation from around the world. This event will have a spacious framework in which we will meet to dance, to question, to improvise, and to honor the work.

Want to contribute your work? There are 36 curators from around the world joining the CI36 Hub to create a format in which you can offer the cutting edge of your performances, classes, labs, or talk structures. Or you can come and simply partake of what others are offering. Or you can spontaneously decide. If you have an idea you would like to share please email the appropriate Curator. Organizing Team
