Some alternative housing for spouses, children, and partners may be available with host families. Please inquire. There are also local hotels within 5 miles of the college. During the Celebration (June 12–June 18) we will have some extra housing on campus for children and partners, which will be available on a first-come basis.
ABOUT HOUSING & MEALS
About Housing:
The rooms are in a residence hall on campus near all facilities. They have nice windows and are not air-conditioned. Shared rooms have 2-4 beds per room. There are shared bathrooms with showers on every floor and several common spaces for visiting and hanging out. Sheets, pillowcase, two bath towels, hand towel and a washcloth are all provided. Blankets and pillows are not provided (bring your sleeping bags!). A few blankets may be available for those in need.
The nearest campground is a 15 minute drive. There is no tenting on campus – sorry. Local hotels are within 5 miles of the college. We encourage people to sleep and eat on campus.
About Meals:
The 3-meal-a-day option provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The 2-meal-per-day option provides lunch and dinner. Breakfasts can be purchased individually as desired.
Both meat and vegetarian dishes will be available. If you have special food requirements, please inform Juniata College when you register and they will take care
of it.
